Louisville, KY – April 9th, 2018 – Endeavor Louisville announced today that Mark Franco, Founder & CEO of MXD Process, was selected into the Endeavor Global network at the 78th International Selection Panel in Manila, Philippines. Mark Franco was selected by a panel of global business leaders including Raoul Oberman (Indonesia), Pravan Malhotra (Singapore), Phillip Korn (USA), Vincenzo Ciummo (Singapore), Annette Kimmitt (Australia) and Jasen Ko (Philippines). “The panel challenged Mark and was exacting. He rose to the challenge. Mark represented himself, the region and MXD proudly. He is a great addition to the Endeavor Entrepreneur team,” noted Jackson Andrews, Managing Director of Endeavor Louisville.
MXD Process manufactures mixers, dispersers, and tanks for processing all types of liquid, as well as the control systems that tie this equipment together. As companies seek to optimize and automate their production processes, MXD has positioned itself as a one-stop-shop for high tech production systems of any size in an industry where all other major equipment providers are slow to adopt modern technology.
Convening business leaders, investors, and entrepreneurs spanning 30 countries, the International Selection Panel (ISP) – three days of interviews, deliberations, and networking – is the culmination of a rigorous search and selection process and represents the heart and soul of the Endeavor experience.
At the Manila ISP, 18 panelists from around the world interviewed 21 entrepreneur candidates about their businesses, evaluating them on their potential for high-impact growth, and then deliberated on which candidates should be selected to become Endeavor Entrepreneurs. Once selected, Endeavor Entrepreneurs gain access to comprehensive customized services, including introductions to local and international business mentors and volunteers from Fortune 500 consulting firms who will help them address key needs.
“I couldn’t be more pleased with the final result, and the process itself has yielded some key insights for MXD Process and its future,” explained Mark Franco, who joins a select network of high-impact entrepreneurs from across the globe. To date, Endeavor has screened more than 55,000 entrepreneurs and selected more than 1,600 individuals leading over 1,000 high-growth companies. With support from Endeavor’s worldwide mentor network, these high-impact entrepreneurs have created 1.4 million jobs, have generated $15 billion in revenues in 2017 and have inspired future generations to innovate and take risks.
MXD Process is the 7th Endeavor Entrepreneur led company selected into Endeavor Global from the Louisville area, joining Rivera Group (Joey Rivera, Ph.D), Red e App (Jonathan Irwin & Patrick Goodman), El Toro (Stacy Griggs), SkuVault (Andy Eastes & Slav Ivanyuk) and Edj Analytics (Sean O’Leary) and Healthcare Asset Network (Kyle Green).
Since the launch of Endeavor Louisville, Endeavor has supported local entrepreneurs with programs at Harvard Business School and Stanford and additionally with services from global partners EY and Bain. Endeavor Entrepreneurs have been appointed Endeavor advisory boards, have been offered new market expansion and partner opportunities, have been taken on investor network roadshows, and have been provided over 700+ hours of mentorship locally & globally to date from network members.
